Continuing Professional Education
CIA® Exam Requirements
Practicing CIA® must complete and report 80 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) every two years.
40 CPE hours are awarded to a candidate upon passing the CIA® exam, and another 40 hours in the subsequent year.
