A step by step tutorial was created to walk you through the installation process of the PrepReview Software. You can download the Setup Tutorial from here. This software also walks you through the simple steps needed to register your information and email, through the PRC Website, as well as generating Activation Codes.
Another tutorial was also created to walk you through the activation of the different Parts, in the CD, of the CIA examination as well as explaining the structure of the software. This Software Tutorial was included in the CD, but you can also download it from this site.
If you are still preparing for any of the 4 parts of the CIA examination, and you have the PrepReview Version 3.1 or prior, you can download updates for the Powers PrepReview database which includes over 1300 extra Multiple Choice Questions covering all 4 parts of the CIA exam. These were added to better prepare you and help you pass the CIA examination. All you need to do is follow the below steps:.
Save them on your desktop (these are self-executable files).
When done, double click on each of the saved files to self-execute.
Click on Unzip.
After it unzips, you can close the small window.
Your software will get updated automatically.
IMPORTANT NOTE: keep in mind that when you download the updates and you self-execute them, they will completely replace your current database. All your previously saved data & statistics will be lost. If you do not want for this to happen, then please do not update your database.
Before doing the above steps, make sure that you have your username/email and Activation Codes on hand. You will need them to reactivate your parts. Here are the steps to follow:
After the update is done, run your software
Click on Activate PrepReview Parts
Enter your username/email (CASE SENSITIVE)
Enter your Activation Codes (If you have lost them, please send us an email requesting them.)(Note: your Activation Codes should still be valid, otherwise you will not be able to activate your parts. If they are no longer valid and you would like to renew your license agreement, please contact us at info@powersresources.com)
"Critical Updates" are very important and useful for the system to run properly. You should check for new updates on a regular basis.
